The European Day of Languages has been celebrated every year since 2001 on 26 September. Throughout Europe, 800 million Europeans represented in the Council of Europe’s 47 member states are encouraged to learn more languages, at any age, in and out of school.
The students of 133 group Anastasia, Maria and their teacher Hladka J.V. prepared interesting and useful information about this day. During the first lesson they were going to each group in the college. At the end of their speech Anastasia and Maria proposed one game to check how students understood them. They read sentences and the students might decide if these sentences are true or false. Students clapped for true sentences and crossed their arms for the false ones.
Julia Victorivna prepared the dictation about The European Day of Languages and all English teachers wrote it with their students.
У цей день члени клубу «Глобус» ініціювали випуск студентами коледжу плакатів-висловів про мову, була проведена робота лекційної групи студентського наукового товариства «Пошук» про історію святкування європейського дня мов, написання диктантів про свято на англійській мові у всіх групах 1-3 курсів.
